Gratitude and Reality

Richest Blessings to all of my readers. If you are Canadian, I hope you had a wonderful Thanksgiving and that the long weekend was a fruitful one.

Obviously, the theme of thankfulness and gratitude have been present in the minds of many over the last few days, so I wanted to take some time to anchor some thoughts around the importance of maintaining a grateful heart and mind.

Every evening, I pray with my son and daughter. We’ve begun with simple prayers; giving thanks and recognizing the presence of our Father and his Love in our lives. We close with affirming this Love in our lives NOW, by establishing His Reality as the one we decide for.

This is something we have maintained for the last several months, and though my young son does experience what he would consider to be crises and is met with various challenges, the practice of prayer coupled with the continuous encouragement of a grateful heart and mind, he has been able to meet these challenges with an elevated perspective.

My son is setting a wonderful example to help me remember the best way to deal with conflict and crises. Our Father has established Reality; what He created is perfect, is Love, and cannot be altered or changed in any way. And when we center into this perfect Love and perfect Peace, through gratitude, this Reality shines through even the darkest moments.

It’s important to recognize that our efforts to change anything in this world is meaningless without first establishing a mental equivalent. What I mean by that is we cannot hope to change what is an effect [Form], by means of effect. We must rise to the causative dimension of mind and spirit, from whence the world we perceive emerges.

“Seek not to change the world, but choose to change your mind about the world” (T-21.In.1:7)

Once the transition has occurred in mind, and the decision to see differently has been made, then we are in a proper posture to activate transformation via our actions. (The creative formulae is Thought -> Word/Decision -> Action)

Gratitude is a word we humans use to describe an interior state that is at peace with the moment, and one which recognizes that all is right in our world. In its deeper noumena, gratitude aligns us with the frequency of Creation, enabling us to inherit consciously [and extend] the creative potential [Fatherhood of God extended to his Son] which is God made alive through us, as us.

So regardless of what form life may take for you, always remember that the peace, love, and TRUTH of God, our Father, and his Kingdom [Reality], is a mere decision away. A decision for gratitude.

AUM
